Weather Vane
This weather vane securely mounts any Kestrel 5 Series meter to any tripod or other ¼-20 fitted bracket. Once mounted, the Kestrel 5 Series becomes a full-featured weather station with a large wind vane and precision pivot that keeps the Kestrel oriented into the wind for continuous measurement and logging of wind speed, wind direction, and all other key weather parameters. This works really great with the Kestrel LiNK app, displaying the Kestrel’s real-time readings remotely up to 100’ away.
Carry Case
Constructed of 500D Cordura and Kevlar fabric, it is tear-resistant and lightweight, with padding that protects everything inside. MOLLE/PALS mounting straps on the rear of the case for mounting or carry. The case is also Berry Compliant (100% made in USA w/ USA materials). An internal battery pouch secures extra AA batteries. The full kit weighs just 11.1 ounces / 314 grams including having a Kestrel inside it, and measures just 2.5 x 3 x 9 inches / 6.5 x 7.5 x 23 cm.
